After performing Stand-Up comedy for 18 months Stuart longed to get back to the Musical grounding of his past. After a number of opportunities, Stuart joined a local Nu-Swing band called MEZZCATS.

Performing for around 18 months, Stuart Fisher, guitarist Andrew Palmer and drumer Richard Seymour decided to step out and form another band, Midnight Syndicate, a 7 piece Jazz, Swing and Funk band. After only a few months, Midnight Syndicate became a resident band for the Holiday Inn's Jazz 'n' Blues Bar and regularly performed at festivals, private & corporate functions and clubs like the Brisbane Jazz Club.

in 2002, Stuart decided to enhance his musicality, and successfully auditioned to join the Queensland Conservatorium of Music in the Bachelor degree majoring in Jazz Vocal. Studying under the incredible Irene Bartlett, Stuart honed his singing and performance abilities and started working as a solo act using Brisbane's best muso's as his solid backline.

Stuart's unique vocal sound, powerful and passionate, sensitive and emotional, is in demand around South East Queensland for private functions, in clubs like the Brisbane Jazz Club and Kedron Wavell Services Club and for clients like: Brisbane River Festival, Rio Tinto, Curves Gyms, Queensland Cancer Council, and Queensland Cricketers Club.

Stuart has worked with some of the finest Jazz Muscian's in the country, including: Ingrid James, James Sherlock, Andrew Shaw, AJ Hall, Richard Seymour, David Spicer, Viv Middleton, John Reeves, Irene Bartlett, John Hoffman and Catherine Lambert and is the regular host of the Jazz Queensland's Jazz Singer Jam Night and other Jazz Functions.

Stuart frequently works in many different band line ups, from Duo's and small groups through to the 8 piece Midnight Syndicate. More recently Stuart has starting talks with a local Big Band which will allow for a full 18 piece backing.
